Engine cover — removal and installation (VW Lt 28)

1. Before removing the engine cover, you must remove the passenger seat. To do this, unscrew the plastic handle, press the locking tab and move the seat forward so that it comes off the guides (see photos).

2. If an additional passenger seat is installed above the engine cover, it should also be removed by folding the seat cushion up and pulling it out of the retainer.

3. If the vehicle is equipped with a radio, open the hatch above the engine cover and disconnect the ground wire from the camshaft cover.

4. Release the 4 hinge clamps and remove the engine cover.

5. Install the cover in reverse order. The cover should be secured first with the rear clamps, and only then with the front ones.
