Removal



1. Disconnect the pressure (white marking) (1) and reverse (blue marking) (2) hoses from the fuel filter.

2. Pump out the fuel using a hand vacuum pump (3).

3. Remove the air filter housing with the air flow meter and connecting tube.

3. Remove the air filter housing with the air flow meter and connecting tube.


4. Loosen the screw (arrow A) and move the air filter housing upwards from the mount.

5. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum line (1) from the dual pump (4).

6. Disconnect the pressure (2) (white marking) and reverse (3) (blue marking) hoses from the double pump (4).

7. Unscrew the mounting screws (arrows). Separate the dual pump (4) from the cylinder head.

Installation



Installation is carried out in reverse order, and the following instructions must be observed.

Attention!
  • Ensure that the dual pump drive element is correctly positioned in the camshaft.
  • Replace the dual pump seal.
  • Install the dual pump and tighten the upper mounting bolts to 20 Nm.
  • Tighten the lower mounting bolts to 10 Nm.
  • Conduct a leak test.
  • Connect the fuel return hose (blue marking) to the return pipe (3) of the double pump.
  • Connect the fuel pressure hose (white marking) to the pressure pipe (2), connect the vacuum hose (1) of the brake booster to the fuel pump (4).
  • Connect the pressure hose (white marking) to the fuel filter.
  • Connect the hand vacuum pump with accessories and a container for collecting the liquid to the return hose (1).
  • Connect the return hose (blue marking) to the fuel filter.
