Removal and installation the door handle (VW Polo 4)

Removal

Remove the lock cylinder, see next chapter.



Release clamp "1" and move handle "2" away from the door. 3 — lock drive lever.

Installation

Insert special tool "1" VW-T10118 through the hole from the end of the door (arrow -A-) and hook spring "2" ("arrow B").

Pulling the tool in the direction of arrow "C", hang spring "2" on the door lock.

Move the door handle towards the door.

Pull the clamp "1" into the opening of the sheet and fix it in the door handle "2". At the same time, press the handle to the door.

Caution: When installing the clamp, do not pull the lever "3" of the lock drive, see figure N57-0214.

Install the lock cylinder, see next chapter further.

With the door open, check the operation of the locking mechanism.
