Door lock/POLO
1 - door lock
Removal is only possible together with the door mechanism holder, see the relevant chapter below.

Removal
- Remove the door handle, lock cylinder and door mechanism holder, see the relevant chapter below.
- Unscrew bolt "5".
- Move the locking bracket back a little and remove it from the door.

Installation
- Installation is carried out in reverse order.

When this bolt is released, the locking of the lock cylinder body "9" is removed and it can be removed from the locking bracket "4".
Caution: The bolt must not be turned out too far or screwed in with the lock cylinder housing removed, as this may cause the retaining ring to fall into the door shaft.
Door lock/IBIZA
The door lock of the IBIZA car has, in principle, the same design. However, it lacks the locking corner "3".
