Sun visors (VW Passat B5)

Sun visor mounting elements

• 1 - sun visor,
• 2 - internal support of the visor,
• 3 - electrical connector,
• 4 - visor ball joint,
• 5 - screw,
• 6 - plug,
• 7 - support casing,
• 8 - screw

Removal

1. Remove the inner portion of the sun visor from the support.

2. Remove the cap from the screw securing the sun visor ball joint.

3. Remove the screw (5) securing the sun visor ball joint.

4. Remove the sun visor ball joint from the body and disconnect the electrical connector.

5. Remove the cover from the inner sun visor support.

6. Remove the two screws and remove the inner sun visor support from the ceiling.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
