The oil in a gasoline engine must be changed every 15,000 km. If the mileage is too low - once a year.
Under severe operating conditions: for short distances, frequent cold starts and very dusty conditions, it is recommended to change the oil at shorter intervals. To change the oil:
- warm up the engine to operating temperature (+60°C);
- unscrew the drain plug and allow the oil to drain into a substituted container;
- screw in the plug with a new gasket, applying a moment of 4 kgf·m;
- unscrew the oil filter using a special tool;
- wipe the mating surface and screw in a new oil filter, having previously lubricated its gasket with engine oil;
- tighten the oil filter by hand (see tightening instructions on filter housing);
- fill the engine with oil to the correct level.
