Lifting and towing a vehicle (VW Passat B4)

The car is lifted using the jack from the driver's tool kit.

The installation locations of jacks 2 and 3 on each side of the vehicle are indicated by marks stamped into the lower part of the body (Fig. 1-2). The same points 2 and 3 are used for lifting with a garage jack.

When towing, the cable is attached to the eyes 1 or 4, located on both sides at the front and rear of the vehicle.
