Warning: If work is to be carried out under the vehicle, stands must be used for securing. Supporting the car with just one jack is not enough.
Warning: Do not start the engine of a raised vehicle - it is dangerous.
Order of execution
1. To raise the vehicle it is necessary to use a jack placed under the support points of the vehicle body, which are located approximately 17 cm from the corresponding wheel arch.
2. Install a jack.
Warning: If the jack is not placed under the body support, the vehicle body may be damaged. In addition, there is a risk of injury.
Warning: The leg of the jack must tightly cover the vertical edge of the side member so that when the car is raised, the jack cannot slip.
Warning: Simultaneously level the jack and raise the jack leg until it rests snugly on the vertical rib.
Warning: When the jack is placed on soft ground, the vehicle may fall off the jack. Therefore, it is necessary to put the jack on solid ground. If necessary, a stable and relatively large support should be used.
3. A lift must be used to lift the vehicle.
4. To avoid damage to the bottom of the vehicle, be sure to use appropriate rubberized pads.
Warning: In no case should the car be lifted under the oil pan of the crankcase, under the gearbox, under the rear or front axles, otherwise serious damage to components and assemblies may occur.
5. Before entering the lift, make sure that there is sufficient distance between the low points of the vehicle and the lift elements.
6. In front of the car, install the lift foot under the vertical reinforcements of the side members (arrow 1. The center of the lift arm must be aligned with the underbody reinforcement (arrow 2).
7. At the rear of the car, install the lift foot under the vertical reinforcements of the side members in the area of mark 2 on the body to install the jack (arrow 1).
