The oil filter is replaced according to the terms specified in the service manual, or during any engine repair, or when changing the oil. To remove the filter, use a special key or screwdriver, which is used to pierce the filter from the side, and then used as a lever to unscrew the filter.
The filter installation instructions are on its sticker. A new rubber gasket, lightly lubricated with oil, must be installed under the filter flange each time. The new filter is screwed on by hand without using any tools. After installing the filter, check the oil level in the engine and top up if necessary.
