The batteries used have a capacity of 36 Ah, (gasoline engines) or 63 Ah (diesel engines that have six galvanic cells filled with electrolyte.

The battery is an autonomous power source and is primarily needed to start the engine.

To maintain its functionality for a long time, you should regularly follow these recommendations:

• Always keep the battery clean. The cover must be dry and clean at all times to prevent self-discharge of the battery.
• The electrolyte level should always reach the bottom edge of the filler hole; only clean distilled water can be used for topping up.
• When storing a flooded battery for a long time, periodically (once a month) recharge it with a rate equal to 0.1 of the battery capacity.

Attention! Electrolyte corrodes the skin of your hands and metal parts of the car body. To neutralize it, use an aqueous solution of baking soda.
