Warning: Always check that the jack and tools are securely fastened. Otherwise, in the event of a traffic accident, they may move forward and cause injury to passengers.
Use the jack only for changing tires. Never use the jack to lift other vehicles or other loads to avoid accidents and personal injury.
Never use a jack as a support when working under a vehicle. Serious injury could result if the jack accidentally moves.
Do not place the jack under the bumper, otherwise the bumper system may be damaged.
Additionally, the jack may slip off the bumper, which could result in injury.
Do not place the vehicle on bricks, etc. They may crack under such loads over a long period of time.
Do not start the engine on a jacked-up vehicle.
If you need to work under a vehicle, be sure to use axle stands specifically designed for this purpose to support it.
Jack and tools for self-service (VW Golf 2)
The jack, tools and universal hubcap wrench are held to the spare wheel rim by a rubber band. A double-bladed screwdriver (flat blade on one end and Philips head on the other) is inserted into the wrench handle. The jack must be lowered completely before being stored.
