Remove the lower instrument panel covers.
Remove the air ducts.
For Golf models produced before July 1980: remove the nozzle from the rear of the instrument panel towards the interior of the vehicle.
For Golf models produced after August 1980 and Jetta: unscrew the Phillips head screw at the bottom of the nozzle; pull out the nozzle.
For all models: when installing, pay attention to the correct fit of the air ducts.
