Adjusting headlight washer nozzles (VW Caddy 3)

Necessary special devices, control and measuring instruments, as well as auxiliary means:



Check the jet adjustment.

• Use headlights.
• Turn on the windshield washer.

The headlamp cleaning system is activated when the washer switch remains pressed (i.e. in the "Washer" position) for at least 1.5 seconds.

The washer jet should hit the lens exactly opposite the center of the corresponding headlight, positions B and C.

Adjusting the jets

Use headlights.

Turn on the windshield washer.

Washing of the glass is carried out when the washer lever is held for at least 1.5 seconds in the washing position.

The jets (arrows) should extend.

Perform the following steps: adjust the direction of the washer jet using the adjusting device (T10167) so that the jet hits approximately the center of the headlight at (pos. B) and (pos. C).





If the flow is uneven, or if the jet cannot be adjusted as required, the windshield washer nozzle must be replaced (solution in terms of service).
