Fastening the starter wiring harness

The starter wiring harness mount is indicated by the arrow.
Removal
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the ground (-) cable from the battery.
Attention! When disconnecting the battery, the memory of the radio and electronic control units is erased. If the radio is coded, write down the radio code before disconnecting the battery. Without entering the security code, the radio will not work after connecting the battery.
3. Place the machine on stands.

4. Unscrew the wire (1) of the battery – starter and starter – generator from terminal 30. Disconnect terminal 50 (2) from the ignition switch.

5. Unscrew the starter mounting screws from the gearbox (indicated by arrows). A special key is required for this.
Installation
1. Install the starter, tighten the 3 screws to 20 Nm, but not too much.
2. Screw the wire to terminal 30 with a torque of 15 Nm.
3. Connect the cable to terminal 50.
4. Put on the plastic cover.
5. Connect the ground (-) cable to the battery.
Attention! Connect the battery only when the ignition is off, otherwise the injection system control unit may fail.
6. Set the time on the clock.
7. Enter the anti-theft code into the radio.
