Starter wiring harness attachment
The starter wiring harness is indicated by an arrow.
Removing
1. Switch off the ignition.
2. Disconnect ground cable (-) from the battery.
Attention! When the battery is disconnected, the memory of the radio receiver and electronic control units is erased. If the radio is coded, write down the radio code before disconnecting the battery. Without entering the security code, the radio will not work after connecting the battery.
3. Place the machine on stands.
4. Unscrew the wire from terminal 30 (1) battery - starter and starter - generator. Disconnect terminal 50 (2) to the ignition switch.
5. Unscrew the starter mounting screws from the gearbox (indicated by arrows). This requires a special key.
Installation
1. Install the starter, tighten the 3 screws to 20 Nm, but not too tight.
2. Screw the wire to terminal 30 with a torque of 15 Nm.
3. Connect cable to terminal 50.
4. Put on the plastic cover.
5. Connect ground cable (-) to the battery.
Attention! Connect the battery only when the ignition is off, otherwise the injection system control unit may fail.
6. Set clock time.
7. Enter the anti-theft code into the radio.
