Dismantling
Loosen wheel nuts.
Loosen the shock absorber at the bottom.
Raise the car, remove the wheel.
Press the guide rod down, pull out the spring with a pry bar.
Attention! The spring is in a compressed state.
Installation
Inspect spring pads, replace damaged pads.
Install the upper spring support so that the end of the spring sits in the recess.
Install the bottom support. Make sure that the contours on the lining and on the guide rod match.
Insert the spring at the top and push the pry bar at the top. When installing, make sure that the end of the spring matches the contours on the lining.
Attention! In vehicles with four-wheel drive, the inner diameter of the last turn at the beveled end is somewhat smaller than at the other. If the spring is installed with the beveled end down, then this may cause noise, because. the spring warps on the guide rod base. Therefore, install the helical spring so that the beveled end is inserted into the upper support.
Put a jack under the wheel, raise the wheel slightly and screw on the shock absorber.
Spin the wheel.
Lower the vehicle, tighten the wheel bolts crosswise to 180 Nm.
