Removal
1. Unhook cover 1 (Fig. 9.52). Unscrew two screws 2 and remove the decorative cover of the parking brake system drive lever.
2. Disconnect cable 1 from the parking brake system drive lever (Fig. 9.53).
3. Remove the wheels.
4. Place a lift under the rear axle beam and lift it up.
5. Disconnect the parking brake system drive cable from the clamps (Fig. 9.54). Disconnect the shock absorber from the rear axle beam. Unscrew the nuts (arrows) securing the U-bolts.
6. Unscrew nuts 1 securing lugs 2 and 3 (Fig. 9.55). Lower the rear axle beam using a lift. Remove lugs 2 and 3.
7. Unscrew the bolt (arrow) securing the spring at the front (Fig. 9.56).
8. Remove the spring.
Installation
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torques
Spring to earring - 100 Nm.
Spring to body - 100 Nm.
Shock absorber to the rear axle beam -100 Nm.
