Verification procedure
Insert the new valve into the guide bushing. The end of the valve stem must be covered by the guide bushing. Due to the different stem diameters, use the inlet valve only in the inlet valve guide bushing and the exhaust valve in the exhaust valve guide bushing (Fig. 2.96).
Determine the clearance when rocking the valve. Wear limit: 0.8 mm.
If the rocking clearance is exceeded: Replace the cylinder head.
