Instructions: The air pollution sensor "G238" is installed at the front right in the direction of travel, on the air intake grille in the water drainage box. The air pollution sensor "G238" is a highly sensitive electronic unit that can be damaged by contact with solvents, fuel and some chemical compounds. It is prohibited to install sensors that have been stored in inappropriate conditions (for example, in toolboxes). The removed sensor should not be stored in places where it may come into contact with solvents, fuels or any aggressive chemical compounds (in liquid or gaseous form).


Removal



Remove the water-draining box casing. Remove cover "1" from the water-draining box.

Disconnect the connector from the air pollution sensor "G238". Unlock the air pollution sensor mount "G238" "1" and unscrew it from the bracket on the inlet ventilation grille.
