2. Loosen and remove the handle mounting screw and the handle.

3. Remove the screw that holds the outer handle in place. Remove this handle.
4. Disconnect the cable or lever from the lock by removing the spring clip and releasing the cable or lever from the regulator by unscrewing the regulator nuts.

5. Unscrew the three mounting screws and remove the lock.
6. Reinstallation is accomplished by reversing the above steps, but adjust the cable or lever by turning the adjuster nut until the end of the lock lever rests against the stopper.
