Attention!
  • The exhaust gas recirculation is controlled by the diesel engine direct injection system control unit (3248) using the exhaust gas recirculation valve (N18) and the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum valve controlled by it.
  • The EGR valve (N18) is located on the front shield of the engine.
  • When the conical rod of the mechanical EGR valve moves, the flow area of the EGR supply opening changes.
  • Thanks to the tact control, any valve position can be achieved.
  • The self-locking nuts must be replaced with new ones.

1. Intake manifold with electric damper drive motor (V157):
- tighten the mounting screws to a torque of 22 Nm.
2. EGR valve (N18).
3. EGR valve.
4. Valve mounting screws: 20 Nm.
5. Gasket:
- replace with a new one during assembly.
6. Clamp: 10 Nm.
7. Connecting pipe.
8. Sealing washer.
9. Exhaust manifold with catalytic converter.
