- tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 22 Nm.
2. From the intercooler.
3. Gasket:
- replace with a new one during assembly.
4. Connecting tube flange fastening screw: 22 Nm.
5. Exhaust manifold.

- with exhaust gas recirculation valve (N18) and air damper drive motor (V157).
2. Gasket:
- replace with a new one during assembly.
3. Heat exchanger flange fastening screws: 22 Nm.
4. EGR heat exchanger with vacuum drive and bypass valve:
- can only be replaced as a complete unit with the EGR radiator;
- controlled via a vacuum line by the EGR radiator changeover valve (N345).
5. Connecting tube flange fastening nuts: 22 Nm.
