If the brake pedal free travel is too large (it needs to be measured every 7500 km) drum brakes (both rear and front) needs to be regulated.

Raise the front of the vehicle and place it on supports. Remove the rubber plugs from the brake shield.

Using a screwdriver, turn the adjusting nut until the brake shoe is completely in contact with the brake drum.

Note: When adjusting, rotate the wheel by hand. If the shoe is fully engaged with the drum, turn the nut in the opposite direction until the wheel rotates freely.


Adjust the second shoe in the same way.

Adjust the brakes on the remaining wheels.
