Raise the front of the vehicle and place it on supports.
Remove the rubber plugs from the brake shield (see arrow), shine a flashlight into the resulting holes and check the thickness of the friction linings. The wear limit is 2.5 mm.
Replace the rubber plugs and lower the vehicle.
