Note: If the muffler does not come out of the clamp, there are two ways to remove it. Method 1: saw the exhaust pipe about 5 cm behind the clamp. Then saw the rest of the pipe lengthwise and knock it out with a chisel and hammer. Method 2: if you have a gas welding machine, heat the clamp so that it expands and releases the pipe.
Safety Instructions: Before using the gas welding machine, cover the underbody with an aluminum plate. Fire hazard. Prepare a fire extinguisher.
Removal the complete exhaust system with pre- and post-silencers
Safety note: There is a risk of accident when lifting the vehicle! Please read the section "Lifting a car".
Raise the car onto the trestles.
The place of disconnection is marked with embossings. Cut the pipe at the central embossings "arrow 2". The side embossings, marked with arrows "1" and "3", serve as marks up to which the pipe should be pushed into the clamp clamp "4" during assembly.
The cutter chain at the central embossings "arrow 2" should be wrapped around the exhaust pipe and tightened. Roll the pipe with the chain back and forth and tighten the chain, but not too much, so that the pipe at the cutting point is not deformed.
Unhook the mufflers from the suspension mounts and remove them.
Installation
Attach the mufflers to the suspension mounts.

A repair clamp is used to connect the exhaust pipes.
Caution: Always replace a used clamp, do not reinstall it. Since exhaust pipes of different diameters are used depending on the vehicle model, make sure to purchase parts of the correct size.
Align the exhaust system, see previous chapter.
Tighten the terminal clamps. Tightening torque for the vehicle:
- with petrol engine: 25 Nm;
- with diesel engine: 40 Nm.
