Cruise control maintains a constant set speed in the range of approximately 30 to 180 km/h.
Cruise control is operated using a switch on the left steering column switch (see illustration).
Set switch B to the ON position.
When the cruise control is on, the symbol appears on the instrument panel display.
To turn off, set switch B to the OFF position.
To memorize the speed, press once on the button A below [SET] at the moment when the car develops the desired speed.
To increase the set speed, press the A [RES+] key up until the desired speed is reached.
Decreasing the set speed is done by pressing the lower part of the A [SET -] key.
The speed is reduced by reducing the fuel supply. The vehicle is not braked.
When accelerating with the accelerator pedal, the cruise control returns to its original value when the pedal is released. This does not happen if the speed has been exceeded by more than 10 km/h for five minutes. In this case, remember the new speed value.
When the vehicle speed is reduced by depressing the brake pedal, the cruise control is deactivated.
Resuming driving using cruise control is performed by pressing once on the upper part of the A [RES+] key.
The cruise control mode can be exited by depressing the brake pedal, depressing the clutch pedal, moving the switch in the OFF direction, but not locking it.
When cruise control is temporarily disabled, the previously set speed is stored in memory. To resume cruise control, press the top of the A [RES] key once.
