The tiptronic system gives the driver the ability to shift gears manually.
With the gearshift lever in position D, push it to the right into the "tiptronic" manual control slot.
Move the control lever forward slightly (see arrow +) to shift into a higher gear.
To shift to a lower gear, push the control lever back.

When accelerating, the gearbox automatically switches to the nearest high gear shortly before reaching the maximum permissible engine speed.
If you select a lower gear, the shift will only occur when there is no danger of the engine spinning up.
If, while driving with the gearshift lever in position D and 3rd gear engaged, the transmission is shifted to tiptronic, this gear remains engaged.
