Warning: Since experience shows that the front brake pads on the front passenger side wear out more quickly, the brake pads should be checked on the right front wheel.
1. Loosen the front right wheel mounting bolts and apply the handbrake, then raise the front of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the front right wheel.

2. Using a caliper, measure the thickness of the brake pad (a). The minimum allowable thickness of the brake pad together with the backing plate is 7 mm.
3. If the brake shoe lining is worn to the minimum thickness, all four brake shoes must be replaced as a set.
4. Install the wheels and lower the vehicle.
Warning: According to empirical dependence, with a mileage of 1000 km, the wear of the brake pad is 1 mm.
