Installing the gear selection mechanism (VW Golf 2)
The outer part of the gear selector mechanism has a design similar to that of the four-speed gearbox model 084 (figure 310). To adjust it, you need to loosen the connections shown by the arrows on figure 311. Installing the mechanism requires the use of measuring instruments, but trial and error can be used.
