Note: Secure water hoses with clamps.
Removing
Remove the radiator grille by unscrewing 5 vertical screws and pulling out the grille.
Drain the coolant, or clamp the water hoses at the radiator with clamps. In this case, the coolant will flow when the radiator is removed only from the radiator.
Raise the front of the car.
Remove the spare wheel by unscrewing the bolt and pulling the fastening hook.
Attention: Spare wheel falls down. Danger of injury!
Knock out the spare wheel mount along the plate loop, remove the plate, fold the mount aside.
Release the water hose clamps, disconnect the hoses from the radiator.
Remove one bolt from the left and right radiator shields.
Disconnect the wires from the fan temperature switch and from the fan connector.
Unscrew the left and right lower radiator mounts, deflect the radiator.
Pull down the radiator together with the fan.
Installation
Connect wire to temperature switch.
Insert the radiator together with the fan. Place the rubber gaskets on the radiator retaining fingers.
Insert the radiator until it snaps into place and secure, do not forget the rubber gaskets.
Connect the fan connector.
Connect the water hoses to the radiator and secure them with clamps.
Screw one bolt into the left and right radiator shields.
Fill with coolant, remove air from the system.
Install the spare wheel plate, insert the spare wheel and screw on the plate.
Insert radiator grille and secure with 5 screws.
After a test drive, check for coolant leaks at the hose connections, tighten the clamps if necessary.
