Removal and installation the rear bumper trim (VW Touareg 1)

NOTE: Minor deviations may apply depending on the model variant.

NOTE: Depending on the model variant, slight deviations must be taken into account during removal and installation.

Removal

Remove the tail lights.

Remove the 3 bolts under the rear lights.

Unscrew the 2 bolts in the wheel wells.

Unscrew bolts 4 from below.

With the help of a second mechanic, remove the bumper trim parallel to the guides.

Depending on the vehicle's configuration, disconnect the wires of all available electrical components.

Installation

Installation is carried out in reverse order.
