Removal
1. Disconnect the intake pipe 1 from the throttle body (figure 2.24). Remove the spark plug protective cover 2.
2. Disconnect the accelerator pedal cable.
3. Disconnect the 8-pin wiring connector from the throttle body on the left cylinder head (figure 2.35).

4. Unscrew bolts 1 securing the throttle body 4 and remove it (figure 2.36). Unscrew bolts 2 and remove intermediate flange 3

5. Remove the high voltage transformers of spark plugs 2 and 4 cylinders.
6. Loosen and remove the spark plug wire caps on cylinders 1 and 3 by twisting them right and left.
7. Blow out the spark plug wells with compressed air.
8. Unscrew and remove the cylinder head cover. Check cover gasket 2 and replace it if necessary (figure 2.37).

Installation
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
