2. Loosen the through bolt on the clamp on the gear shift lever.
3. Move the gearshift lever until the gap between the lever and the edge of the floor opening is 15.0 mm. During this operation, be careful not to shift into second gear.

4. After asking your assistant to move the lever all the way to the left, turn the lever counterclockwise using pliers.
5. While holding these setting positions, tighten the through bolt on the lever clamp.
6. Check the gear shifting and also check that the reverse gear latch works.
