Engine installation (VW Lt 28)

Repeat the steps described above in reverse order, observing some special requirements. For engines with the designation SR 11.82:

• The engine should be lowered carefully. place the left console on the double-sided mounting bolts (studs), then place the right console, center it with the corresponding pin and install the mounting screw.

For other engines:

• Lower the engine carefully and install both consoles on the mounting studs.

Please note: On some earlier engines, the console mounting bolts must be tightened after the transmission is installed.

• Install the gearbox, ensuring the correct connection of the clutch disc sleeve and the clutch shaft.
• Install the remaining equipment elements, remembering to fill the cooling system with the appropriate liquid.
• Check the oil level in the engine and gearbox.
