Dirty rubber band
Clean the rubber band with a hard nylon brush and detergent or alcohol.
Fringe of the working surface of the rubber band. Tape is torn or worn
Replace rubber band.
Aging rubber band. cracked surface
Replace rubber band.
Residual water remaining in the cleaning zone is collected in beads
Glass is oiled or contaminated with polish or oil
Clean the glass with a clean cloth and silicone-based grease and oil cleaner.
The brush works on one side. Cleans one half of the cleaning zone well, and the other half badly. Brush vibrates while working
Deformation of the rubber band. The working surface of the tape does not turn to another flange
Install a new rubber band.
Brush lever moved. The brush does not adhere to the glass
Correct the position of the brush lever.
Remaining uncleaned places
The rubber band has come out of the mount
Carefully thread the ribbon into the holder.
The rubber band does not adhere evenly to the glass because the holders are bent
Replace rubber band. This malfunction usually appears when the replacement brush is not properly installed.
Weak lever pressure*
Lubricate the lever axles and springs or install a new lever.
