Location of relays and fuses (VW Golf 4)

The location of the relays and fuses may vary depending on the vehicle equipment and year of manufacture.

The relays are located behind the left footwell trim under the instrument panel.

On vehicles with a lot of equipment, there is a block of additional relays located behind the base of the main relay block.

Relay box in the engine compartment of vehicles with TDI diesel engines

The relay box (1) in vehicles with TDI diesel engines is located in the engine compartment behind the air intake pipe.
