191. To get to the flywheel, you need to remove the clutch.

192. Before removing the flywheel, mark its position relative to the crankshaft so that the flywheel can be subsequently installed exactly in its original position.

193. Lock the flywheel from rotating.

194. Remove the flywheel bolts (can be very tight) (see photo).

195. If the flywheel surface where it contacts the clutch pressure plate is worn, scratched or badly burned, or if the starter ring gear teeth are worn or damaged, the flywheel must be replaced.

196. The flywheel is installed in reverse order. Secure it with new bolts, applying thread locking compound to their threads (see photo).
