1. If you do not have special equipment, it is better to entrust this work to a specialist from the workshop.

2. If you have the equipment, proceed as follows after removing the hub carrier (see previous section).

3 Use a press to remove the upper and lower bushings from the hub carrier.

4. Install the new bushings so that they are positioned as shown in Figure 11.28.

Use a measuring device to determine correct installation.

5. Insert the reamer (tool #3043) into the lower bushing and expand both bushings simultaneously to the required size. Be careful not to expand in the wrong direction as the reamer has two different expansion cutters.

6. Clean off any sawdust and insert the spacer ring until it is flush.
