Conservation
After washing and drying the car, it is recommended to preserve the paintwork of the body with a special product containing wax. It closes the pores, creates a smooth water-resistant surface, and also protects the body from atmospheric influences. It is necessary to preserve the body if it is noticed that the water during washing spreads over the entire surface, and does not collect in drops. Regular maintenance helps to keep the gloss of the paintwork for a long time.
In addition to various preservative emulsions and pastes, there are preparations that dissolve in ordinary water. Before starting conservation, the car must be washed and dried. Preservative additives to water effectively protect the paintwork only if they are used regularly (at least 1 time in 2-3 weeks). After washing with detergents, it is recommended to use a preservative in accordance with the instructions for its use.
Attention! Do not preserve the paintwork in the open sun!
Polishing
Polishing of the paintwork is necessary when, due to insufficient care, it has lost its luster under the influence of dust, industrial pollution, sun and rain, and various protective agents do not bring improvement.
For polishing, it is not recommended to use abrasive or chemically aggressive preparations, even if the first test gave good results. Before each polishing, the car must be washed and dried. How to use the polish is described in the instructions that come with it. Do not apply the polish immediately on a large surface to prevent premature drying.
Note. After applying some polishes, conservation of the body is necessary.
Attention! Do not polish in the open sun!
Surfaces covered with matte enamel, as well as parts made of light metals, do not require conservation and polishing.
