Fabric upholstery
Fabric upholstery is cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or a stiff brush. Places contaminated with oil-containing substances are cleaned with a stain remover. Do not apply stain remover directly to fabric as this will cause stains.
To remove stains, wet a cloth, sponge or brush with stain remover and wipe the stain using circular motions from the outside of the stain to its edges.
Leatherette upholstery
Leatherette upholstery is usually not very dirty, so no special cleaning products are required.
For minor contamination, an aqueous solution of a mild detergent (or soap) or an aqueous solution of a special product for cleaning leatherette is sufficient.
Heavy contamination must be removed immediately. For cleaning, you can use gasoline, alcohol or solvent. But you should not pour these substances directly onto the material, but only wipe the contaminated area with a cloth soaked in them.
After each cleaning, it is necessary to thoroughly dry the upholstery with a soft cloth, especially in the joints (at the seams).
