A dirty car should be washed as quickly as possible. In this case, the following rules must be observed:
  • use enough water;
  • wash the car with a sponge or a very soft washing brush with a hose connection;
  • do not direct a strong stream of water at the car, but only use it to wash away and soften the dirt;
  • wash off the soaked dirt from top to bottom with a sufficient amount of water;
  • rinse the sponge frequently;
  • use only high-quality detergents;
  • to remove any remaining detergent, be sure to rinse the car with clean water;
  • when using detergents regularly, frequently preserve the car body;
  • never wash or dry your car in the sun. At the same time, stains will inevitably appear on the body.

Particularly dangerous for internal grooves, flanges, door and hood joints is the salt scattered on the roads in winter. Therefore, at every car wash (including washing in automatic installations) these areas must be cleaned with a sponge, followed by rinsing and drying.

When washing, it is not always possible to remove drops of resin, traces of oil, insect residue and other contaminants. Such contaminants must be removed as quickly as possible using special means to avoid damage to painted surfaces.
