Disconnect the "4" connector of the seat belt reminder under the seat.
Disconnect the plug connector "5" of the side airbag under the seat and connect the adapter "7" to the side airbag connector.
Note: The adapter provides additional protection against electrostatic charges.
If equipped, disconnect plug connector "6" of the seat heating system.
Remove the front seat together with the guide rails by moving it upwards.
Installation
Installation is performed in reverse order, first screwing in the rear inner bolt, then both front bolts, and finally the rear outer bolt.
Tighten the front seat mounting bolts to 24 Nm.
Caution: There should be no people in the vehicle when connecting the battery.
Remove the insulating tape from the negative battery terminal. With the ignition off, connect the positive (+) wire to the battery first, then the ground (-) wire.
Attention: Follow the instructions in the chapter "Removal and installation the battery".
If the airbag indicator on the instrument panel does not go out after the ignition is turned on, the airbag system is faulty. In this case, you need to contact a service station.
