POLO, 5-door model
Removal
Remove the rear seat cushion, see the relevant chapter below.
Release the trim at the bottom of the C-pillar, see the relevant chapter above.
Pull out clamp "4" from sleeve "5".
Insert a plastic wedge from the front between the threshold trim "3" and the door seal and pull the clips from the rear side of the threshold trim out of the holes "1".
Release the trim from the lower trim of the B-pillar "2" and remove it from the threshold with an upward movement.
Installation
Check the clamps for damage and correct positioning on the trim; replace the clamps if necessary.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, making sure that the clamps are correctly inserted into the corresponding holes.
3 door model only
Press the threshold trim upwards at the locations of the clamps.
