Removal
Remove the trunk lid support, see the relevant chapter below.
Remove the upper trim of the C-pillar, see the relevant chapter above.
Remove the threshold trim, see the relevant chapter below.
Remove the rear seat cushion and backrest, see the relevant chapter below.
Unscrew screw "3".
Using a small screwdriver or a plastic wedge, such as HAZET 1965-20, press the clip "2" out of the trim.
Acting on the trim "1" from behind, pull it away from the C-pillar and unfasten it at the clamps "4". Pull the trim out from under the door seal.
Installation
Check the clamps for damage and correct positioning on the trim; replace the clamps if necessary.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. In doing so, ensure that the door seal is positioned over the edge of the trim.
