Disconnect the connectors of the switching unit of the idle speed stabilization system and connect them together.
Disconnect the high-voltage wire from terminal 4 of the ignition distributor and connect it with a jumper to ground.
Pull down the rubber boot from the ignition switch connector. Do not disconnect the connector.
Attention: The specified values are valid for an ambient temperature between 0 and +40°C.
Connect a voltmeter to terminals b and 3.
Turn on the ignition.
Slowly crank the engine by hand while observing the voltmeter reading.
Attention: When the engine rotates, the mutual position of the disk and the magnetic core of the Hall sensor in the ignition distributor changes. Specified value: The voltage must change from 0 to at least 2 volts. Otherwise, replace the Hall sensor.
The figure shows the position when the core -2- is higher than the disk.
Connect the DLS connectors.
