NOTE: Auto-levelling headlights with gas discharge lamps are equipped with a self-diagnostic function. When carrying out repair work, it is necessary to know how lighting equipment works and how to operate it.
General description
The main headlights with gas discharge lamps have the function «bixenon».
Discharge lamps in conventional «xenon» headlights emit only dipped beam. «Bixenon» allows to develop «one» gas-discharge lamp and low beam and high beam. To do this, the electromechanical regulator (magnet to move the damper in the left headlight and magnet to move the damper in the right headlight) when the high beam is switched on, it opens the hitherto closed section of the low beam and the high beam is distributed.
For this reason, in «bi-xenon» headlights, together with the low beam, the high beam is automatically adjusted. However, if the vehicle has «extra high beam», it should be adjusted separately.
European models
Dipped beam is produced by one light source.
The high beam is produced by two light sources.

Removal and installation of a magnet for moving the flap of the bi-xenon headlight
The magnet for moving the shutter in the left headlight and the magnet for moving the shutter in the right headlight are built into the headlight and cannot be removed and replaced separately or reconfigured.
In the event of a malfunction, the headlight must be replaced.
NOTE: The position sensors for the left and right headlights are located inside the headlight and cannot be replaced or adjusted separately.
