Replacing spark plugs (VW Lt 2d)

1. Turn off the ignition.

2. Disconnect the intake pipe 1 from the manifold (figure 1.18). Remove cover 2.

3. Remove the ignition coils 1 and spark plugs of cylinders 1 and 3 (figure 1.19). Loosen the 2 spark plug adapters by turning them left and right and remove them. Blow out the spark plugs with compressed air.

4. Unscrew the spark plugs with a wrench (figure 1.20). Screw in the new spark plug and tighten to 25 Nm.

5. Connect the spark plug adapters for cylinders 2 and 4. Install the ignition coils of the spark plugs of cylinders 1 and 3 and tighten them to 9 Nm.

6. Install the spark plug cover.

7. Connect the intake pipe 1 to the manifold (figure 1.18).
