Checking the thickness of brake pads (VW Lt 2d)

Permissible thickness of the lining without a base plate: 2 mm

The check is carried out through a hole in the wheel disk (figure 1.24). If the brake pad lining thickness is less than the permissible limit, it must be replaced.
