Power take-off box with power take-off from the gearbox

The information is posted on this website (www.VWmanual.ru)

Power take-off box with power take-off from the gearbox

The power take-off box allows the operation of additional consumers with power take-off from the vehicle's gearbox. Depending on the type of operation, its duration or transmitted power must be limited.

Attention! Additional power take-off is engaged only when the gearbox is in neutral position.

On vehicles with a shift lock, the manual transmission is locked when the auxiliary power take-off is engaged. On vehicles without a shift lock, additional power take-off can be used with the vehicle stationary or with the vehicle moving in first or second gear.

When the power take-off is engaged, a warning light on the instrument panel comes on.

With the vehicle stationary and the engine running: press the clutch pedal several times, wait 3-6 seconds and then engage or disengage the power take-off. Release the clutch pedal.

Adjusting the rotation speed of the power take-off flange

Adjusting the rotation speed of the power take-off flange

1 - idle speed; 2 - Maximum rotation speed.

The rotation speed of the connecting flange on the power take-off box is adjusted by a lever under the instrument panel. To decrease the rotation speed, move the lever forward; to increase it, move it backward.
