Clutch — adjustment (VW Lt 28)

1. With the frequency specified in the section "Routine maintenance" at the beginning of this Manual, you should check the free play of the clutch pedal. When you press the pedal by hand, it should first move easily to the distance specified in the Specifications, after which resistance will begin to be felt, indicating that the clutch is engaged.

2. If the clutch pedal free play is not within the specifications, loosen the lock nuts where the clutch cable attaches to the gearbox and adjust their position.



3. Check the clutch pedal free play again and tighten the lock nuts.
