Attention!
- Welding or straightening of load-bearing or guiding suspension elements is not allowed.
- Self-locking nuts must be replaced.
- Corroded bolts are removed and nuts must always be replaced.
Carefully! Rubber-metal hinges (silent blocks) have a limited working range of twisting. Therefore, their fasteners must be tightened in such a position of the suspension, which is achieved with the curb weight of the car (those. when the wheel bearing housing is raised on a car hung on a lift).
List of components and parts of the rear wheel suspension with technological notes on repair to Figure VC5.020:
1. Silent block.

Proper sealing is only possible by fitting a new protective cap.
